The free demo / student version is a restricted and simplified, but fully functional version that allows to enter and calculate networks up to 50 nodes and includes the basic calculation modules: Load Flow, Short Circuit, Dynamic Simulator (transients), Harmonic Analysis, Overcurrent Protection and Reliability Analysis.
Although it contains only a very limited range of functions you will get a good overview of the software and there are many pre-defined examples as well as pre-defined libraries for network elements, protection devices and control circuits for dynamic analysis available. The license is valid for 6 months an can be prolonged upon request by e-mail to info@neplan.ch
The NEPLAN demo or student version, respectively, is only available in the cloud and may only be used for non-commercial purposes. If you would like to use NEPLAN for research or education, we recommend our research or education package, respectively. If you would like to use the on-premise solution NEPLAN V10 or the cloud solution NEPLAN 360 commercially (e.g., as network operator, engineering office, consultant, or the like), please contact sales@neplan.ch.
For smaller utilities and engineering offices, we offer the powerful Engineering Package in the cloud solution NEPLAN 360 at a preferential price. This package contains all the modules required for the planning of distribution, industrial and power-plant networks. For further information, please see our e-shop
